Opportunity at GFZ Potsdam for scientists with experience in seismology and affinity for and expertise in scientific programming, from either geoscience or computer science. The position is suitable as a postdoc, but candidates with relevant experience without a PhD are also eligible.
Responsibilities include processing continuous seismic ambient noise recordings from the Eifel volcanic field and polar regions to address relevant questions of environmental monitoring, and development of corresponding data products accessible to non-seismologists.
