Description/activity:

Tritium and radon isotope analyses in groundwater, rainwater and landfill percolation fluids.

Analyses are carried out according to specifications of WATER & ENVIROMENT NEWS No. 3 (1998) - IAEA Sub-programme on water resources - Tritium Measurements: Re-Conditioning Of Electrolysis Cells, International Atomic Energy Agency-Vienna, Austria.

Equipment:

• Electrolytic cell for the enrichment of tritium in water. 12 slots with double distillation line.
• Perkin Elmer 1220 Quantulus ultra low level liquid scintillation spectrometer
